About Us

Michèle House is the General manager of Canterbury Saddlery. She was first employed at Canterbury Saddlery in 1989. She took over the ownership from Leighton Diggs in 1994.  

	Michèle oversees administration and assists in the running of the store. Michele is available for saddle fittings in the area. She is an experienced rider and competes in show hunter and round the ring hunter competitions and enjoys hunting in the winter. She is also involved in racing and breeding thoroughbreds and standardbreds.
	Mel Sugrue is the store manager. She has been employed at Canterbury Saddlery full time for 6 years .Mel has an excellent knowledge of the product range and always offers helpful and friendly advice. She competes in Showing and Dressage competitions.
	Zoe Gardner has been employed at Canterbury Saddlery  the last 5 years as a sales assistant. She enjoys showing and dressage and has a growing interest in breeding and racing harness horses. Zoe is also a BHS trained riding instructor.
	Leighton Diggs opened the doors of Canterbury Saddlery in 1958. He retired and sold the business to Michele in 1994. He is a qualified skilled saddler. Canterbury Saddlery is very fortunate to have such an experienced saddler on hand.
